October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month!  But, Domestic Violence occurs every day...

This page is dedicated to the memory of all of those whose lives were taken from them in domestic violence-related homicides.  All of the information about these victims was submitted by their family members and friends. 
 
The descriptions of what happened to these victims is graphic and disturbing...this is intentional.  There is an abundance of literature, data, and statistics available, concerning domestic violence and it's deadly consequences.  But, for many people, seeing is believing... 

Below the slideshow, you can read (still under construction) more about each of these victims, and the status of their cases, respectively.  If there is a web site or MySpace page available for any of the victims, it will be posted with their case information. 

* Cases that are marked "Unresolved" are cases in which the family has facts and background information  to support their claims pertaining to the murder of their loved one, but for various reasons, the case has not, yet, been resolved in a court of law.
